Adhesive Transfer Tapes
- Introduction
- While traditional double-coated tapes incorporate a core 'skeleton' (such as tissue paper, PET film, or foam carrier), Adhesive Transfer Tapes (ATT) are uniquely engineered with 'zero carrier substrate.' Upon manufacturing, it exists purely as a uniform layer of high-performance acrylic adhesive coated directly onto a release liner. Once applied and the liner is removed, what remains on the substrate surface is 100% pure adhesive. This distinct architecture allows it to function as a 'solidified liquid glue,' achieving seamless, ultra-thin bonding interfaces that conventional tapes cannot replicate.

Ultra-Thin Profile & Zero-Bulk Bonding The total thickness is determined purely by the adhesive layer itself (typically ranging from 0.05 mm to 0.13 mm) without adding any extra bulk from a carrier backing, making it a perfect fit for high-precision, micro-clearance spaces.
Premium Thermal Stability & Weather Resistance By eliminating carrier substrates (such as tissue paper or plastic films) that are prone to thermal degradation, melting, or carbonization under extreme conditions, the pure acrylic formulation can withstand long-term or short-term high temperatures ranging from 150°C to over 200°C.
Seamless Conformability & High Optical Clarity The adhesive mass exhibits exceptional, near-invisible transparency and flawlessly conforms to complex 3D curved surfaces, completely eliminating the risk of lifting or edge-popping caused by the residual stress of a carrier backing.
Excellent Chemical & Solvent Resistance Demonstrates robust resistance against industrial solvents, motor oils, gasoline, weak acids/alkalis, and UV radiation, ensuring the polymer matrix will not suffer from yellowing or molecular degradation over long-term deployment.
Adhesive Transfer Tapes (ATT) are widely specified in benchmark industries where thickness buffering is prohibited, yet high temperature resistance, superior shear strength, and flawless surface flatness are strictly required:
Metallic Nameplates & Control Panels (The Most Classic Application) Used for mounting metal or acrylic nameplates and decorative fascias onto 3C devices and home appliances (e.g., microwave or washing machine control panels). It guarantees zero edge-lifting over time and easily withstands aggressive surface-wiping solvents.
Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) Bonding Deployed within compact electronics to secure FPCs onto heat sinks, metallic chassis, or rigid PCBs, leveraging its ultra-thin profile and ability to survive high-temperature manufacturing processes.
Foam, Gasket & Absorber Lamination Utilized to transfer the pure adhesive mass onto various rubbers, EMI microwave absorbers, or foam gaskets, transforming these substrates into self-adhesive components optimized for subsequent precision die-cutting.
Automotive Interior Trims & Badges Engineered for securing dashboard trim strips and steering wheel center emblems, providing the robust thermal endurance needed to withstand extreme cabin heat and UV exposure during peak summer months without delamination.
